1. About the Service

DeckVision is an AI-powered deck visualisation tool designed for Australian homeowners. Our platform allows you to upload photos of your outdoor space and receive AI-generated deck design concepts. We also facilitate connections with local decking builders for quote requests.

2. Not Construction Advice

DeckVision is a visualisation and inspiration tool only. Our AI-generated images and cost estimates are indicative and should not be relied upon as construction plans, engineering advice, or accurate pricing. Always consult a licensed builder or structural engineer before commencing any construction work. Council approvals and compliance requirements vary by location.

3. Cost Estimates

Cost estimates provided by DeckVision are approximate guides only, based on average Sydney metro pricing. Actual costs may vary significantly depending on site conditions, access, materials, labour availability, council requirements, and other factors. We make no guarantee regarding the accuracy of any cost estimate.

4. Builder Connections

When you request quotes through DeckVision, we introduce you to independent local builders. These introductions are referrals only — DeckVision does not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any builder. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence, verifying licences, insurance, and agreeing on terms directly with any builder.

5. User-Uploaded Photos

By uploading photos to DeckVision, you confirm that you have the right to share those images. You grant DeckVision a non-exclusive licence to process your photos for the purpose of generating visualisations and improving our AI models. You retain ownership of your original photos.

6. Intellectual Property

AI-generated deck visualisation images are provided for your personal use. The DeckVision brand, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. You may share your generated images but may not use them for commercial purposes without our permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, DeckVision is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on cost estimates, or interactions with builders connected through our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the service (if any).

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse our AI systems
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than personal deck visualisation
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
